چکیده

This study presents a comprehensive frame-invariant fractional-order framework for the geometrically nonlinear bending and postbuckling analysis of nonlocal plates subject to combined thermal mechanical loads. The kinematic framework, unlike classical formulations based on integer-order mechanics, is positive-definite thermodynamically consistent. nature enables application variational principles derive well-posed thermomechanical governing equations. Nonlocal Bending Analysis of Bilayer Annular/Circular Nano Plates Based on First Order Shear Deformation Theory

In this paper, nonlinear bending analysis of bilayer orthotropic annular/circular graphene sheets is studied based on the nonlocal elasticity theory. The equilibrium equations are derived in terms of generalized displacements and rotations considering the first-order Shear deformation theory (FSDT). The nonlinear governing equations are solved using the differential quadrature method (DQM) whic...

Nonlinear bending models for beams and plates.

A new nonlinear model for large deflections of a beam is proposed. It comprises the Euler-Bernoulli boundary value problem for the deflection and a nonlinear integral condition. When bending does not alter the beam length, this condition guarantees that the deflected beam has the original length and fixes the horizontal displacement of the free end. The numerical results are in good agreement w...

An Analytical Approach to Thermoelastic Bending of Simply Supported Advanced Ribbed Composite Plates

In the present paper, an analytical approach is used to study the thermal deflections of a simply supported composite plate with a beam-like stiffener. The results for a plate–beam system exposed to a sinusoidal thermal load is used to study the effects of the low Earth orbit (LEO) thermal conditions on the composite plates, which have been used in the structure of satellites and spacecraft. To...

A Nonlocal Parabolic System with Application to a Thermoelastic Problem

A system modeling the thermoelastic bards contacts is studied. The problem is first transformed into an equivalent nonlocal parabolic systems using a transformation, and then the existence and uniqueness of the solutions are demonstrated via the theoretical potential representation theory of the parabolic equations. Finally some realistic situations in the applications are discussed using the r...

Ritz Method Application to Bending, Buckling and Vibration Analyses of Timoshenko Beams via Nonlocal Elasticity

Bending, buckling and vibration behaviors of nonlocal Timoshenko beams are investigated in this research using a variational approach. At first, the governing equations of the nonlocal Timoshenko beams are obtained, and then the weak form of these equations is outlined in this paper. The Ritz technique is selected to investigate the behavior of nonlocal beams with arbitrary boundary conditions ...
